The mission of The Contemporary Museum's education department is to create meaningful, accessible opportunities for visitors of all ages and levels of experience to engage with the arts, both generally and with specific works on view at TCM.

Along with educational materials and customized programs for individuals and groups, gallery talks and workshops relating to exhibitions are held throughout the year and are often led by the artists exhibiting in the galleries. 

The Museum’s education department also works with teachers to develop individualized programs and curricula for classes in art, as well as integrating art with other areas of study.
